What does your business card say?

A business card is the primary identifier of you and your business. Even a simple business card should reflect your brand identity and your personality.

Too often we don’t spend the time to really root out exactly what we want. We make things simple by hitting one of the many free or low-cost business card sites only to find a multitude of templates, none of which really speak to your personal brand or any of your other marketing materials.

Your business card, at a minimum, needs to have your logo, name and contact information. Sometime that contact information can include your address, other times you can just keep it simple with a cell phone number and email address.

Your card should entice the holder to contact you for more information. It should have a card stock that is NOT flimsy and conscious decisions should be made to either have a glossy finish or a matte finish. Paper choice is another way you can add some pizzazz to your card. A nice heavy-weight linen stock can really communicate the character of your business. Or, a simple high gloss finish with a nice matte back can give you the option to add some extra notes on a card to remind the recipient of the card to give you a call about a particular product or service you offer.

Your card is you. You are not a template, your business deserves the custom attention a real graphic designer can give you. I’m here to help.
